To Have & To Have Not ~ By Em North, Willow Rosenberg/Angel, Rating: Adult, warnings: none ~ Willow finds a way to secure Angel's soul. ~ This fic is interesting because the author takes a common element in W/A(us) fics and she's made it her own. This is an orginal and very angsty take on Willow finding a solution to Angel's curse.

Night School ~ by Gabrielle, Willow Rosenberg/Angel(us), rating: Adult, warnings: none ~ Angelus is bored. Willow is unwary. ~ This was one of the first W/A(us) fics that saved my love for the pairing, instead of the typical dark fic with a happy ending for Willow and Angel(us), this one remains dark ot the very end. There's no fairy tale ending to be found, especially since Gabrielle has remained true to Angelus' character and nature.

Flesh Into Gear ~ by Claudia6913, Willow Rosenberg/Angelus/Spike, rating: Adult, warnings: none ~ Drusilla has been killed by none other than Willow. What will Angelus and Spike do when they find out and how will Willow cope? ~ A dark fic with an original plot that keeps the reader interested from the very first chapter. The only downfall to this fic is the fact that it's currently incomplete with no word on when or if it will be updated again.

Blood & Tears ~ x_spikeaholic_x, Faith Lehane/Angel, rating: Adult, warnings: none ~ An AU piece set during late Season Two of ATS, where Faith lives with Angel during his dark stage. ~ I'm always a fan of angsty or dark Faith/Angel(us) pieces, and this piece doesn't disappoint on the angst. It gives a plausible reason for why Faith is with Angel instead of in prison and it remains true to the characters and the season that it is set in.
